Liberty Resources II, LLC

Liberty Resources II, LLC (dba Liberty Resources LLC) is a Denver-based oil and gas Company focused on acquiring acreage in the Williston Bason of North Dakota. We have consistently generated superior production results applying our completions expertise to maximize production and economic recovery. The principals in Liberty are recognized as global experts in hydraulic fracturing technologies, and the Liberty team has achieved outstanding economic returns in areas beyond the central part of the Williston Basin. In Liberty II, the company acquired approximately 83,000 net acres in the Bakken formation of Williams, Montrail and Burke counties in North Dakota through transacting a number of separate land acquisitions. The company drilled ~131 operated wells and grew production to over 20,000 BOE/day.

Prior to the formation of Liberty Resources II, LLC the management team founded Liberty Resources LLC ("Liberty I") and operated that company before successfully selling its assets in 2013. Both Liberty Resources entities were founded with the principal financial support of Riverstone Holdings LLC, an energy, power and infrastructure-focused private equity investment firm with over $40 billion of equity capital raised. In Liberty I, the company acquired approximately 43,000 net acres in the Bakken formation of Williams and McKenzie counties in North Dakota through transacting thirteen separate land acquisitions. The company drilled 31 operated wells and grew production to over 6,000 BOE/day. During its operation of the Bakken assets, Liberty’s unique completion design was pumped on a total of 86 operated and partner wells and resulted in the highest production rates per well among operators in the Bakken formation.

Liberty Resources II, LLC ("Liberty II") was founded in late 2013 also with the principal support of Riverstone Holdings LLC. In March 2014, Liberty II closed on the acquisition of approximately 53,000 net acres in the Williston Basin.  Subsequently, Liberty has completed a series of purchases, trades, and sales to build a focused position of over 84,000 net acres with over 72 operated or controlled 1280 or 1920 acre Drill Spacing Units and over 300 premium locations around the Nesson Anticline in Williams, Mountrail, and Burke Counties.
